Ethics Follies®
ACC's Commitment to San Antonio and Central/South Texas
The Central/South Texas ACC Chapter has made a commitment to provide ethics training to its in-house attorney members for the past 11 years. With the increasing role of in-house attorneys in the daily operations of businesses, and the more complex regulatory environment after Enron and Sarbanes Oxley, ACC opened the conference to the corporate executives supported by in-house attorneys, the law firms which advise the in-house attorneys, and the accountants who have a common interest in preserving ethics in business and achieving transparency. ACC's goal is to support an ethical business and legal community by inviting all professionals in Central/South Texas to raise their awareness of what unethical conduct has occured in the previous year around the U.S. that has damaged business growth and law firm prosperity. ACC recognizes the financial and economic value of trusted companies and law firms working with a goal of ethical conduct in every transaction and law suit.
By writing, producing, and staging a musical comedy based on ethics and white-collar crime and ethics headlines each year, ACC's membership can meet other professionals, network, and have a creative outlet that helps others. We accomplish our mission of raising ethics awareness, and also achieve our mission of giving back to San Antonio with ACC's donation of a significant portion of the net profits from the Follies to the Community Justice Program.
