The Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC), South/Central Texas Chapter,  is pleased to present its 11th Annual Ethics Conference in San Antonio, Texas, co-sponsored this year by The San Antonio Bar Association and Bar Foundation.

Click to see Ethical Dropout videoThe award-winning ACC Chapter joins with the San Antonio Bar Association and Bar Foundation to offer a warm invitation to the San Antonio legal and business communities.  On Nov. 6, 2008, share in preserving San Antonio's outstanding reputation for ethical conduct in the board room and in the court room.  All proceeds of Ethics Follies 2008 benefit the Community Justice Program, which provides free legal services to those who can't afford them.  Giving back to the community has never been this fun!  You will also get 3 hours Ethics CLE/CE!*

Scenes from Ethics Follies 2007

      • When: November 6, 2008 from 1 to 5 p.m. (Sponsor's Cast Party & Reception immediately follows performance)
  • Where: The beautifully restored Charline McCombs Empire Theatre.
  • Why:  3 Continuing Ethics Education hours* and to raise ethics issues awareness.  The Follies also help preserve San Antonio's history of excellent ethical business and legal conduct through professional development.  The event also funds the Community Justice Program.
  •  
  • What:  An original musical comedy called "Decent's Descent" with 55 attorneys, judges, doctors and business executives from San Antonio in a show with over 20 musical parodies of Broadway and popular music.  The storyline is taken from today's headlines of attorneys and corporate executives making unethical, and sometimes criminal, choices.
  • Who Should Attend:  In-house and private practice attorneys, judges, upper-level managers and administrators, physicians, compliance officers, hospital administrators, directors, and city officials and managers.

 *3 Hours of Ethics Continuing Legal Education ("CLE") has historically been approved by the Texas State Bar for this event.  May also qualify for CME and CE credit as well.  Materials on conference topics available through ACC Executive Director Amber Clark in September of 2008 for  submission to professional boards for preapproval of ethics educational credits.
